Board of directors

Since its incorporation, a board that includes fourth and fifth generations of the Wilkerson family has directed the Establishment. The board is proud to a part of the oldest continuously operating black-owned business in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The Board of Directors: 

  • Establishes board policies and objectives.
  • Defines the mission and purpose of the organization, selects and supports the President and General Manager, and reviews their performance.
  • Ensures effective organizational planning and availability of appropriate financial resources, and approves annual budgets.
  • Accounts to shareholders for the organization's performance.
  • Assesses its own performance and determines its own compensation.
