Wayne Curtis Robinson was born on May 29, 1993, in Richmond, Virginia, and passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 33.

Wayne was adopted into a loving family and was cherished by his parents, Shirley Robinson and the late Joseph Robinson, Sr.

Wayne attended L.C. Bird High School and went on to work in a variety of fields throughout his life, often traveling for work. He grew up attending and was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Petersburg, Virginia, where he was baptized. Later in life, Wayne rededicated his life to Christ. He loved rap and hip-hop music, and one of his favorite artists was Rod Wave. Known for his generous heart, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness, compassion, and caring spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Wayne leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Shirley Robinson; his siblings, Shannon Robinson, Tevin Robinson, Shanice Robinson, Dorinda Hunter, Joseph Dwayne Robinson, Jr., Deneen Green, Lea Bullock, Shanay Ismail, Rachel Washington and Deante Holmes; sister-in-law Melody Robinson; brothers-in-law, Rick Hunter, Eugene Green, and Richard Bullock; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Wayne will be remembered for his warm smile, his selfless spirit, and the love he freely shared with family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. Though his time on earth was far too short, his legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Wayne's life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 P.M., Sunday, August 2, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA.
