Wallace Earl Branch, affectionately known as "Runt", was a beloved resident of Chesterfield, Virginia who entered into eternal rest at his residence on Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl R. Branch and Margaret E. Branch; brothers, Mitchell R. Branch and Silas L. Branch; and his sister, Estelle M. Stewart.

Wallace was born on February 25, 1939, in Chesterfield, Virginia. He graduated from Carver High School. After graduating, he relocated to New York where he established his own business, Branch's Maintenance Company.

Wallace leaves to treasure his memory a loving and devoted wife, Kizzie Ruth Branch; three daughters, Darlene Saunders, Valerie Samuel (Vernon) and Shanae White-Branch; five sons, Wallace Saunders (Valarie), Clifton Branch, Wallace McNair (Felecia), Wallace Milton and Damion Nero (Xiao); a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, Ella Taylor, Martha Scott and Toreasa B. Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Wallace loved the New York Mets. He also enjoyed working outside. He will be greatly missed!

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Third Baptist Church, 550 Farmer Street, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Kassandra Bullock, Pastor, the Rev. Tracy Branch, eulogist. The interment to follow at The Branch Family Cemetery.

A family & friends visitation will be held from 5:30 P.M. until 6:30 P.M., Friday, June 13, 2025, at the funeral establishment.
