Victor Lamont Harvell was born on July 2, 1963. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Roosevelt Harvell and Mrs. Fannie Harvell; and his sister, Deborah Weaver. Mr. Victor Harvell departed his life on July 21, 2026, in the comfort of his home. He was known to his friends as "Cat Daddy" and his family called him "Vic" and "Uncle Vic."

Victor graduated from Petersburg High School, Class of 1981. He also attended Virginia State University. Victor was a member of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church of Petersburg, VA. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He loved hanging out with his friends Louis, Brian, Tracy, AV and many others. He loved his cousins Lisa and NeNe as they are more of sisters to Victor.

Victor joined in Holy Matrimony to Betty Hayes on July 21, 2001, and they were married for 25 years. Victor's memories will forever be cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Betty Harvell; daughter, Brittany Martin (Terry); and his granddaughter Breanna Martin. He also leaves to cherish an aunt, Diane Wise of Petersburg, VA; sisters-in-law, Gwen Hite of South Hill, VA and Barbara Harris (Richard) of Chase City, VA; brother-in-law, Eric Hayes (Darlene) of Chase City, VA; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends; along with a devoted cousin and friend, Etta White.

Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Melvin Terry, eulogist. The interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
