Timothy E. "Tim" Parker

The earthly journey of Timothy Emmanuel Parker, 64, came to a physical end on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Bon Secours Southside Medical Center, Petersburg, VA.

Tim, as he was mostly referred to as, was born on August 18, 1962, to the late Dorothy Parker Walton and John Dugger. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Roy Walton.

Tim graduated from Petersburg High School and completed his college years at Norfolk State University. He served in the United States Air Force, specializing in electronics. Tim enjoyed working as an electrician. He later discovered life on the open road as a truck driver. He spent his last year working for Hilton Garden Inn with the maintenance department.

Tim was a private man and was loved by many. He loved the sounds of Jazz and all other music with real instruments.

Tim’s life, love and legacy will be cherished by his former wife, Veronica Parker; two children, Tenisha Lee (Eugene) and Timothy E. Parker II; two grandchildren, Taylor and Aaron Roberson; brothers, Steven Payne (Alfreda) and Keith Dugger (Dee); uncles, Gennie Parker (Eva) and James Parker; goddaughters, Carolyn and Ashanti Sutherlin; special friend, Angie Kennedy; close cousin, Yvette Bailey; family friend, Effie Moore; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Services will be announced by the family at a later date.
