Mr. Terry Tyler passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Battlefield Park Healthcare Center in Petersburg, VA. He was born on April 16, 1966, to Jacob and Mamie Tyler in Prince George, VA.

Terry attended Prince George and Hopewell Public Schools. After graduating, he was employed with Fiorucci and Mattress Warehouse. He also worked in the roofing industry until his health declined.

Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Tyler; paternal grandparents Jake and Lizzie Tyler; maternal grandparents, James and Hester Harris; brother, Keith Bernard Tyler and sister, Bernett Taylor.

Terry's memories will be cherished by his son, Terrel Tyler of Hopewell, VA; mother, Mamie Harris Tyler of Colonial Heights, VA; father, Jacob Tyler, Jr. of Prince George, VA; brothers, James Lee Tyler (Erica) of Petersburg, VA, Onell Taylor, Otis C. Taylor and Rico Thomas; sisters, Shannon Thomas, Tanika Mayo, Geneva Taylor and Pamela Taylor; nephews, James "Tony" Ellis, Marcus Tyler and Deven Tyler; three aunts, Mattlyn Debrick of Prince George, VA, Rose Goines of Waverly, VA and Joann Harris of Hopewell, VA; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 25, 2025, at St. Paul Holiness Church, 8645 Rolfe Highway, Dendron, VA, Elder Welton E. Blount, Sr., Pastor/eulogist. The interment to follow in the church cemetery.

A family & friends visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the funeral establishment.
