Mrs. Teresa Ann Tyler, "Ann", 70, of 3701 Butor Road, Hopewell, Virginia, departed this life Friday, April 10, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Deboles and Carrie Mae Brown; and one sister, Virra Mae Powell.

She had been a lifelong resident of Hopewell and was employed as a housekeeper until she retired. She was the greatest mother any child could have ever had. Her glowing smile and personality was a joy to be around.

Surviving her memories: husband, Louis Tyler, Jr.,  of Hopewell; two daughters, Melanie Tyler of Colonial Heights and Dorothy Tyler of Prince George; two sons, Timothy Tyler and Louis Tyler Ill of Hopewell; five granddaughters, Kiara Studivant, Sade Gregory (Marquis), Angelica Studivant, Makaylah Dunbar, and Ashanti Tyler; three grandsons, Domonick Dunbar, Tyrique Tyler and Khalil Tyler; nine great granddaughters, Aubree Studivant, Aria Washington, Azani Jones, Malani Tyler, lyannah, Julianna, and Sophiyah Dunbar, Ki'Ori and K'Miri Easter; two great grandsons, Ky'rhi Easter and Domonick Dunbar Jr; two sisters, Pearly Pearson (Clifton) and Gail Young; one brother, Herbert Brown (Gracie) all of Hopewell; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held 5:00 P.M., Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, Pastor Clifton Pearson, eulogist.
