Sherron D.
Faison Broyles
Mar 7, 1964 — Apr 9, 2026
Sherron Devell Faison Broyles was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She transitioned to be with the Lord in the early morning of April 9, 2026.
Sherron was a caring, loving, sweet, and funny woman so full of personality. Her infectious laugh and smile brought so much joy. Sherron loved movies, cooking, and music. Her favorite music artists were Earth, Wind and Fire and her favorite color was burgundy.
Born in Battleboro, North Carolina, Sherron was preceded in death by her beloved parents, father Marvin Faison and her mother, Louise Faison. Sherron was one of four children, making her the baby of the family. She looked up to her three older siblings, sister, Vergelean Faison, brother, Charles Faison alongside his wife Cathy Faison, and sister, Yvette Marrero, whom she all loved and admired very much.
Sherron spent much of her younger years as a child and teenager in Rocky Mount, North Carolina with her family. She graduated from Northern Nash High School, Class of 1982, where she played the Clarinet in her high school's marching band.
Even though it is sad that Sherron is no longer here with us, her love and spirit still remain through her three children: her first born son, Cedric Broyles; the second, her son, Tremayne Broyles; and her daughter, Tamika Broyles. Her spirit also continues to live on in all of her extended family and friends back home in her community of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; as well as her nephew, Taderro Marrero; and her niece, Chasity Marrero.
Sherron's family wishes to send gratitude and thanks to the nurses and doctors at Bon Secours Southside Medical Center in Petersburg, Virginia for helping and treating Sherron in her time of need in recent weeks. Sherron will forever and always live in her family's heart.
