Shenita Michelle Brower, age 48, peacefully departed this life on September 25, 2026, in Richmond, Virginia. She was born on November 30, 1977, in Cheverly, Maryland, to Robin Price and Gilbert Price.
Shenita was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She graduated from Gar-Field Senior High School in 1995.
Shenita had a deep and unwavering faith in God. She was a firm believer that, “with God, all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26), and she found comfort and strength in her relationship with Him. She loved reading her Bible and cherished the time she spent growing in her faith.
Shenita was passionate about her work in the medical field as a medical assistant, and she received her certificate in August of 1997. Outside of her work and faith, Shenita enjoyed cooking, reading her Bible, and participating in art activities. She was a woman who found joy in simple things and treasured the moments she shared with the people she loved.
Shenita’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her children, Alphonso Brower, Jr., Brianna Stuckey (Jalik), Taylor Brower, and Paris Smith; her beloved grandchildren, Kelani Penny, Raelyn Brower, Alphonso Brower III, Khani Stuckey, Keyshawn Stuckey, and Azai Brower; her parents, Robin Price and Gilbert Price; her sister, Shontina Walker (Damian); her niece, D’Shea Price-Bright; her uncle, Reginald Harvey; her cousin, Mia Harvey; and a host of extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives she touched.
Though Shenita’s time on earth was not as long as those who loved her would have wished, the memories she created will remain forever. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the presence of the God she loved and trusted. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Cora Brooks; and her paternal grandfather, Walter Price.
Rest peacefully, Shenita. Your love, your faith, your kindness, and your beautiful memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved you.
