It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Sharon R. Tucker affectionately known as, "Bink" on August 2, 2026.

Her humor affected us all in a way we would never forget.  She was a carefree spirit who loved music, Western movies and playing a good card game.  She loved her family, children and grandchildren.

Sharon was born, August 19, 1969, to the late Johnnie Low, Jr. and Barbara Ann Tucker in Petersburg, Virginia.  She was preceded in death by her paternal, grandfather, Johnnie Low, Sr., maternal grandmother, Bernice Tucker; grandfather, John Anderson; granddaughter, Alonii Tucker Petteway; brother, Deon L. Tucker; uncle, Roy Anderson; devoted aunt, Alma Rosetta Burgess; and her beloved cousins, Stephanie Patterson, Helen Jones and Reginald Patterson, Sr.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized later in life at Emmauel Apostolic Temple, Petersburg, Virginia, with her beloved mother, Miss Barbara A. Tucker.

Sharon leaves cherished memories to her mother, Barbara A. Tucker; children, Shonte Tucker (Timothy Browder), Shonika Tucker, Shanecia Tucker; grandchildren, T'Marion Browder, Amare Simms, Amira Tucker, Kayleah Petteway, Kamryn Tucker Browder, Elijah Browder, August Anderson, and Kamara Browder; siblings, Kenneth Tucker (Paula), Donnell Tucker (Brenda), Johnnie Tucker (Sophia), Jermain Ingram, Angel Ingram (Travis), Jason Low, Jasmane Taylor, Shakeera Taylor, Janell Downey, Barbara Jean Tucker and Rose Tucker; devoted sisters, Tonya Anderson, Kimberly Cook; her aunts, Rose Branch and Lorraine Taylor; uncle, John Anderson, Jr; devoted nieces, Ty'aja Ingram, An'aja Ingram, Jonelle Anderson, Daichelle Anderson and devoted nephews, Jaquelle Anderson and Monzell Tucker; devoted cousins, Tia Jones; nieces and nephews, Danielle, Brandon, Kenneth, Kenisse, Sharnaja, Jermaine, Kendal, Sheresa, Jovonne, Tobias King, Jonathan, Destiny, Devin, Devinar, Angel, Santana, Dontez, Donta, Dontrell Johnson, Journee Low, Yasmine Williams, Nicholas Lightfoote, Shaun Williams, Kevin Marques, Coty Anderson, Jeff Cook and Keenisha Tucker; numerous great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends far too many to name.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 15, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA. The interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
