Mr. Ronald F. Parham of Chesterfield, VA, departed this life on Monday, March 30, 2026. He was born on February 13, 1974, to Ronald Preston Smith and Julia B. Dennis.

Ronald was educated in the Sussex County Public School System. He was a member of Hunting Quarter Baptist Church.

Throughout his adult life, Ronald had a desire to drive trucks and later became the owner and operator of Parham's Express, LLC. He was also employed with J. R. Thorpe Trucking Company until his health declined.

Ronald was a man of class that was often displayed through his style of dress, personality and love of fine cars. We would be remiss not to mention his great sense of humor.

Those who will cherish Ronald's memory are his father, Ronald Preston Smith (Myrtie); mother, Julia B. Dennis (William); bonus children, Courtney C. Lewis and Ferrell L. Minor; siblings, Tasha Davis, Jennifer Spratley and Reginald Parham; bonus siblings, Alfreda Massenburg and Robert Massenburg (Kandis); and his special and devoted friend, Kathy Hunter. He will also be greatly missed by his stickman, John Williams; a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 6, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Linda Skipper, eulogist. The interment to follow at The Smith-Rose Family Cemetery.
