Robert "Scooter" L. Williams, born June 16, 1988, in Petersburg, Virginia, passed away on March 10, 2026.

Robert was a skilled carpenter by trade, known for his talent in roofing, ceramic tile, flooring, and many other areas of craftsmanship. He took pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Outside of his work, Robert found peace in fishing and expressed himself through drawing—an art he was truly gifted in.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Lynn Robert Williams (Debbie), and his grandfather, Lee R. Williams, Sr.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved daughter, Jaela Williams; his son, Jayden Williams; his mother, Norma Deeds (Bobby Deeds); his grandmother, Diane D. Williams; and his brother, Robert Patrick Deeds. He is also survived by his uncles, Samuel Thomas Williams and Lee Williams, Jr. (Michelle); his cousin, Madison Williams; and numerous other extended family members who loved him dearly.

Robert shared meaningful relationships throughout his life and was deeply loved by Leah Lewis, mother of his daughter; Jennifer Riggins; Jhessica Burch, his ex-fiancée; and Merissa Ferrell.

He also leaves behind his loyal four-legged companion, Bruno, who brought him comfort and joy.

Robert will be remembered for his kind heart, his creativity, and the love he had for his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, May 11, 2026 at Rowanta Christian Church, 16118 Old Stage Road Carson, Virginia.
