Robert Gladstone Moore, 84, of Hopewell, Virginia, departed this life on May 10, 2026, at his residence.

Bob as he was affectionately known as was born March 12, 1942, in Zanesville, Ohio, to Gladston and Louise Moore.

He attended Hopewell High School and Virginia Commonwealth University.  He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Bob retired from the Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance as an Agent.

Bob enjoyed sports, cooking and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue P. Moore; his parents and his sister, Dinah Snellings (Frank).

Bob is survived by his companion, Mary Nix; three children, Shane Moore (Sherry), Robyn Frazier (Ricky) and Brandy Moore-Dobbs (Jacob); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be announced by the family at a later date.
