Robert W. Cornett, Jr. "Bobby"

Robert “Bobby” W. Cornett, Jr. departed this life on November 2, 2026, at his home, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and countless hearts that will forever be touched by his presence.

Bobby was a very intelligent young man who attended Henrico County Public Schools. He had a personality all his own and a way of making sure his presence was known. His smile could brighten any room, and his unique spirit brought joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments to those fortunate enough to know him.

Bobby enjoyed the simple things in life that brought him the greatest happiness. He loved playing video games, surfing the internet, watching The Simpsons, and going on car rides. He had a special love for holding hands and expressing affection to the people he cared about. If you wanted to make Bobby's day, all it took was a bag of M&Ms and a cold ginger ale!

Bobby was loved by so many, including Shaina Reynolds and his entire Sevita/Good Neighbor family, past and present. His group home family, roommates, caregivers, and all who had the pleasure of meeting him became part of his extended family. He was more than someone we had the privilege of supporting; he was family. His smile, singing, daily demands, and one-of-a-kind personality became part of our everyday lives. The little things that once made us laugh and smile will now become some of the memories we hold closest to our hearts.

Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cornett, Sr.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his group home family, roommates, the Sevita/Good Neighbor family, and the many friends and loved ones whose lives he touched. Though his time with us has come to an end, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Bobby, your presence will be deeply missed, your smile will never be forgotten, and your memory will forever remain a part of our family. Thank you for the laughter, the hand-holding, the singing, the demands, and all the little moments that made you so special. You made a difference in more lives than you could ever imagine.

“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”

And Bobby, when we all meet you in Heaven, you better be ready to share that Wi-Fi password! We know you'll have it all figured out by then.

Rest peacefully, Bobby. You were loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten.
