Nelson Nicholas Brown, born on May 9, 1963 (recorded May 17, 1963), was a devoted father, loving brother, and a true jack of all trades. Known for his strong work ethic, helpful nature, and unwavering dedication to family, Nelson lived a life defined by resilience, skill, and quiet love.

He passed away on January 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his daughter, Angel Brown; his grandchildren, Nicholas Brown, Noah Brown, Levi Winston, and Erin Winston; his beloved significant other, Laura King and her daughter Crystal; and his supportive family friends, Damien Winston and Florence Branch.

Nelson leaves behind his sister, Nancy Brown; his brother, David Brown; and his cousins, Roger and Roy Brown, all of whom he loved deeply. He was also spiritually and emotionally connected to LaDarris, Shameka, and Terry Houp, their children, and extended family—relationships that brought him comfort, faith, and a true sense of belonging.
