On Friday, June 19, 2026, Michelle D. Allen passed away at HCA Virginia TriCities Hospital in Hopewell, Virginia. She was the daughter of Shirley A. Gordon and the late Russell Claiborne born on October 22, 1969.

Michelle attended Matoaca High School in Chesterfield, Virginia. She also received training from Blue Ridge Mountain with the Job Corp where she became a licensed CNA. She was employed at Brighter Living Assisted Living for 8 years.

Michelle was a kind and loving person who loved her sports and wrestling. She was a die-hard Washington Commanders fan. She will be greatly missed.

Michelle leaves to cherish her memories her only child, her daughter Destiny S. Robison; loving mother, Shirley A. Gordon; two brothers, Russell Allen and Dominic Gordon both of Hopewell, VA; two sisters, Tonisha Gordon of Hopewell, VA and Tameka Samedi (Gean) of Texas; four loving aunts and three uncles all in the surrounding areas of Virginia; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Michelle, your journey on Earth has ended and you have slipped onto the road back home. Rest safely in the arms of the Lord.

A special person as you, Michelle, will never leave us. Even though you are gone from our sight, you will never be gone from our hearts. We love and will miss you always. – Your Family

Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 11, 2026, at First Baptist Church, 25720 Greensville Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Dr. Peter R. Jeffrey, eulogist. The interment to follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Park.
