On May 7, 2026, our hearts were saddened by the passing of our loved one, Mr. Lorenzo N. Scott. He was born on December 16, 1963, to Mr. Marshall "Edlow" Scott and Mrs. Delores Scott. Lorenzo was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Scott; grandparents, John Henry Wynn and Alise Wynn and Leroy and Gladys Scott.

He attended Petersburg Public Schools and enjoyed working on the ambulance for the City of Petersburg, Virginia for numerous years until his health declined.

Lorenzo leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted mother, Delores Scott; his daughter, Kayla Henson; companion, Janice Henson; two grandchildren, I'yanna Henson and D'Vaion Jones; two devoted sisters, Sandrea Scott (Russell) and Denise Scott (Ronald) both of Petersburg, Virginia; one brother, Kevin Wynn (Melinda) of Raleigh, North Carolina; three aunts, Mary Elizabeth Mason of Disputanta, Virginia, Melinda Lawrence of Washington, DC and a devoted aunt/caregiver, Joyce Dabney of Petersburg, Virginia; one uncle, Raymond Wynn; nephews, Derrick Scott, Martinez Scott (Bryana), Dorez Wynn and Jaden Scott; nieces, Kianna Wynn and Janyah Scott; great nephews, Bryson Scott and Kashmir (KJ); one great niece, Mielle Scott; devoted cousins, Anthony Scott, Kevin Dabney, Lawrence Scott, Ernest Wynn, Jr., Shameka Wynn (Michael), and Chykeem Clark (Shakalah); and the friends of Chykeem Clark (BDS); devoted friends, Roy Hunter, Maurice Smith, Kenneth Smith and Rob McClure; and a host of other cousins and friends too numerous to name.

Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 15, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Michael Jones, eulogist. The inurnment will be held at Southlawn Memorial Park.
