It is with deep sorrow and great love that we announce the passing of Leon Dallas, Sr., who was called home on June 9, 2025, at the age of 81.

Born on October 30, 1943, to the late Clarence V. Dallas, Sr. and Katherine Dallas, Leon lived a full and vibrant life that touched all who knew him. He was predeceased by siblings, Viola Dallas, Clarence V. Dallas, Jr., Percy Dallas, and Robert L. Dallas, Sr.

Leon retired as Manager of Sloan's Supermarket in New York City. A proud blackbelt in karate, a movie enthusiast, and a devoted fan of James Brown, Leon's love for music, humor, and people made him the life of every gathering. His laughter and charm will long be remembered.

He leaves behind his son, Leon Dallas, Jr.; stepdaughter, Deidre Butler; sisters, Stella Dallas, Geraldine Dallas, Delores Goins (Leroy); and a host of nieces, nephews, and family who loved him dearly.

We celebrate the joy, love, and legacy Leon leaves in our hearts.

Services for Mr. Dallas will be private.
