Kimberly Diahnne Harris, age 44, departed this earth peacefully, on April 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and deep devotion to her family.

Kim was a woman who truly lived through what she loved. She had a passion for sports, a love for shoes, and found joy in music. Above all, Kim cherished her family and her relationship with God, which guided her spirit and the way she cared for others.

She was known for her presence—strong, loving, and unforgettable. Whether through laughter, conversation, or simply being there, Kim made an impact on everyone who knew her.

Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents, David Harris, Sr., Walter Banks, Sr., and Joanne Banks;  aunt, Mildred Bonner; uncles, Charles Banks, Sr., Walter Banks, Jr. and Gerald Banks; and her brothers, David "DJ" William Harris III and Douglas "Donnie" Banks.

Kim leaves to cherish her memory: her father, David W. Harris, Jr.; mother, Lydia L. Harris; stepmother, Cynthia J. Harris; grandmother, Dorothy I. Harris; sister, Brittany N. Harris; brothers, Kevin N. Williams, Sr., (Yvette Williams) and Isaiah T. Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Though her time here was far too short, her life was meaningful, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 26, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Leonard Haskins, eulogist. The interment to follow at Mt. Minnis Memorial Park.
