Mr. James Isiah Murdock, Jr., departed this life on April 20, 2026.  He was born May 5, 1955 in Fort Lee, Virginia to James Isiah Murdock Sr. and Sarah Virginia Murdock.

He was graduated from Matoaca, Virginia.  James joined the United States Air Force and was employed as a Civil Service Worker.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, LaVern Murdock. James is survived by his wife, Cheryl L. Murdock; daughters, Lorraine Michelle Thomas and Chara Dawn Murdock; and his sisters, Charleen Drew and Alfreda Murdock; and a host  of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 30, 2027 at Word First Ministries 10220 N Western Avenue Oklahoma City, OK. The interment will be held at Fort Sill Nation Cemetery, Elgin, OK.
