Jaliyah I.
Mason
Jun 23, 2010 — May 20, 2026
One of God's sweetest angels, Jaliyah Ikja Mason, was born on June 23, 2010, to Shereice Walker and Davonte Mason. She was then called back home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2026. Jaliyah lived her life to the fullest for fabulous 15 years!
Jaliyah was baptized at an early age at God's Mission of Faith. She was currently a rising 10th grader at Dinwiddie High School, actively seeking ways on how she could accelerate her education to be a NICU nurse by age 21. Jaliyah had really big dreams she knew she could accomplish. She was a devoted employee at the Croaker's Spot. She loved the finer things in life and spending your money and hers. She treasured her family, friends and siblings with all her heart. She loved wholeheartedly and embraced everyone who showed her love in return. No matter where she went, her courageous smile and warm presence would light up any room she walked in.
Jaliyah was preceded in death by her great-great grandparents, Ralph Morris and Clara Morris and Gladys Gregory; great grandmothers, Angerina Hailes and Martha Barnes Jones; uncle, Robert Walker, Jr. and her aunt, Wanda McCrae.
Jaliyah leaves her precious memories to her mother, Shereice Walker; father, Davonte Mason; sisters, Imani Reese, Dion Gaitor, Dream mason and Jalyoni Townes; brothers, KeiVon Mason and Kyrie Mason; great grandmother, Dorthy Morris; devoted grandparents, Robert Walker, Angela Walker, Quinta Spears and Matthew Street, Terry Barnes and Tracy Barnes; aunts, Shaquita Walker and Keneca Graves; uncles, Lamario Walker, Terquel Barnes and Terrel Barnes; bonus uncle, Eric Scott; first cousins, Keasia Walker, Azari Walker, Lamari Walker, Tremell Green and Amir Graves; devoted cousin, Nyasia Gregory; devoted friends, Tynaja Wright and Iy'Zeonah Graham Sydnor; and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends that didn't go unnoticed.
