Howard G. Easter, Jr., 76, entered into eternal rest on January 7, 2026, at HCA Virginia Parham Doctors' Hospital, Henrico, Virginia. He was born on April 11, 1949, to the late Howard and Thelma Easter.

Howard is survived by his brother, Wayne Easter (Patricia) of North Carolina; cousins, Katie and Welton Hampton of Prince George, Virginia, James and Christine Barnes of Prince George, Virginia; two devoted friends, John and Kevin both of Henrico County; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Howard served his country for twenty-six in the United States Army retirin as a Sergeant Major (E-9). He also was a facilitator in the Armed Forces as a Race Relations Instructor. He later worked for the United States Postal Service.

Howard's passions included studying the Word of God and introducing people to God. He will truly be missed.

The inurnment of Mr. Easter will be held on 3:00 P.M., Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA.
