Geraldine "Gerry" P. Mondido, aged 77, of Chester, Virginia, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. Born on March 16, 1949, in the Hollers of Beckley, West Virginia, she was the daughter of late Eugene D. Withrow and Christine C. Harrelson, and the special mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.  Gerry dedicated her days to her family and lived a life filled with humor and resilience.

She is survived by Dawn M. Dizol, daughter; Jessie R. Pardo, son; Anthony J. Dela Cruz, son, Eugene "Butch" Withrow, brother; and Linda Gonzalez, sister; Tina Withrow-Saunders, niece; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Gerry was preceded in death by Dale J. Benjamin, Jr., son; Patrick M. Withrow, brother; and Daniel F. Withrow, brother.  Her memory will forever be treasured by all who knew her.

She will forever remain in our hearts and sorely missed.

Services will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Sunday, April 19, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA.
