Haynes
Jun 5, 1965 — Apr 10, 2026
Fatima Saida Haynes born June 5, 1965 and departed this life on April 10, 2026 at the ripe age of 60, although untimely has ascended onto a better place. She was the eldest daughter of Shirley Mae Haynes and Robert Haynes born in Brooklyn, New York. Fatima also never forgot where she came from and took pride in being from "The Big City." She held memories of her early childhood dear as she embodied the New Yorker style in fashion, beauty, hustle, and quick wit would remain with herthroughout her entire journey.
The family relocated to Prince George where many of her mother's family had already built homes and secured successful lives. Fatima graduate of Prince George High School, Class of 1983. She excelled in sports and was a skilled singer. Leading her high school choir in performances and competitions as the choir director. For many years she excelled in numerous manufacturing plants where even in male dominated fields she would rise to leadership positions and exceed quotas where others struggled. Always seeking a better life for herself and her family, she graduated from Chester College in 2009 as a licensed Surgical Technician. After completing her studies, she's traveled the country assisting surgeons from coast to coast.
Well-known for her Beauty and Brains she will be missed by all who've had the pleasure of at least making her acquaintance. A woman of many, many passions and hobbies. She thrived outdoors where she was an avid gardener and fisherman across many seas, a motorcycle enthusiast, a beautician whom shared beauty secrets and products often, an amazing cook who learned from the best and loved to share her food, a forever student of this world who gave the best advice, a world traveler that enjoyed sharing her warm spirit with the world. And also, an educator in her later years where she was avid about devoting her life to educating others in the profession of saving lives, being professional, and compassionate. GiGi was the title she held closest to her heart. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She truly wished to spend her days and time with her grandchildren and children.
