Ms. Ernestine W. Marsh was born on April 9, 1941. She departed this life peacefully on August 12, 2026, at Dinwiddie Health & Rehabilitation Center in Dinwiddie, Virginia.

Ernestine was the daughter of Jesse B Wyche, Sr. and Helen Walker. She received her education at Carter G. Woodson and was a devoted member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Ernestine was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jesse B. Wyche, Sr. and Helen Walker; her former husband, Joe L. Marsh; her son, Reginald S. Marsh; her brothers, Ernest Walker, Franklin Wyche, Arthur Wyche, Jesse B. Wyche, Jr. and Albert Wyche; and her sister, Elizabeth McCray.

Ernestine leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Joe A. Marsh, Linda Coleman (Andre), Karen Ricks (Michael), Kevin Marsh and Jesse A. Wyche (Maxine). Her beautiful legacy will live through her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great-great grandchildren, along with the many devoted loved ones who held her dearly in their hearts to include: Amelia Temple, Jessie A. Wyche, Marylin Wyche, Gloria Parker, Justine Newton and Tina White. She will also be lovingly remembered by her devoted friends to include: Sharon Alston, Patricia Washington, Patty Mae Strokes, Donna Lucas and many others whose lives she touched.

The family extends heartfelt appreciation to the Staff of Dinwiddie Health & Rehabilitation Center, Bon Secours Southside Medical Center and Trinity Hospice, as well as everyone who offered love, care, prayers, kindness and support during this difficult time.

Forever in our hearts, lovingly remembered, and deeply missed.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 6190 Courthouse Road, Prince George, VA, the Rev. F. Lamont Gooding, eulogist.
