Emma was affectionately known as "Sissy Baby," "Sid Bay," or "Emma Lou". She was known for her love of cooking and her devotion to family. Visitors to her home could always expect a delicious meal, especially her signature chicken and homemade biscuits. Her kindness and warmth touched countless lives, and her generous spirit was felt by all who knew her.

She is also survived by her eighteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and the many additional grandchildren she lovingly adopted through her years in the community.
