Dorothy Margaret Bartlett of Mechanicsville, Virginia, 87, departed this life on May 9, 2026, Bon Secours Southside Medical Center, Virginia.  She was born on January 10, 1939, to John and Osie Burke in Richmond, Virginia.

She attended Highland Springs High School. Peggy, as she was affectionately known, was employed at Philip Morris USA as a printer. She enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Vernon; brother, Johnny Burke; daughter, Connie Lynn Henshaw and her husband, Davis Bartlett.

Peggy is survived by her children, John Clary III, David Clary, Dottie Hayes and Shane Clary; grandchildren, Steve Clary, Mariah Clary, Crystal Pollard, Kimberly Hayes, Ashley Hayes, Michael Dunigan (Katie), Sallie Henshaw, Jennifer Henshaw; great grandchildren, Leo and Grace Gallant, Konner Brooks and Elijah Dunnigan; and other grandchild and great grandchildren; devoted friends, Amy Sebastian and Mary Taylor.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 P..M. until 3:00 P.M., Sunday May 31, 2026, at Richmond East Moose Lodge, 7167 Flag Lane
Mechanicsville, VA.
