Donna Marie (Giddings) Cheseldine, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, was born Saturday, February 20, 1954, in Washington, D.C. She went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2025, surrounded by loved ones and family including her beloved niece and caregiver, Jill Grimes (Marvin); her grandniece and nephews, Callie, Cruz and Diego; sister, Carol Bray; brother, Paul Brown; and friend/neighbor, Bonnie.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Barry Cheseldine; and her dog, Patches. She is survived by several other siblings including George Giddings and Andy Brown; two estranged daughters, Melissa Valente and Jennifer Cheseldine; and two granddaughters, Karlie and Kelsie Valente.

Donna was previously employed by the Secret Service until moving to Virginia and becoming a home health aide for Bon Secours for many years. She had an iconic look with her platinum blonde hair, her beautiful smile and porcelain skin. In her retirement, she cared for many neighborhood kids and looked out for her community. She opened her heart and home to everyone without judgement and gave so much back in love and lots of laughter. She spent late nights playing video games and joking with everyone. She loved to bake and decorate for the holidays.

In fulfillment of Donna's wishes, there will be no memorial held at this time. There will be a celebration of her life to be scheduled at a later date.
