Diana Moore

Diana Moore was born on September 4, 1949, in Los Angeles, California. She accepted Christ at an early age and was raised in Holy Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, where her faith was nurtured from childhood.

Diana shared 49 loving years of marriage with her beloved husband, Dennis Moore, Sr., who preceded her in death. Together, they raised five children and built a legacy of love, faith, and family.

As a Navy wife, Diana embraced life with dedication and grace. She enjoyed cake decorating, preparing meals, celebrating holidays, and bringing family together. Her home and heart were always open to family and friends, creating treasured memories that will live on for generations.

Diana's life was a beautiful testament to faith, family, kindness, and love. She leaves behind her loving children, Denise, Cindy, Shabazz ( aka Dennis), and Tieast. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcella. Diana is also survived by her sisters, Johnnie Mae and Sylvia; her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; extended family members; and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory and the love she shared so freely.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to her daughter, Denise Island, and son-in-law, Milton, for their unwavering love, devoted care, and support during Diana’s final days.

May God welcome Diana into His loving arms. Though she is gone from our sight, her love and legacy will live forever in our hearts. Rest in eternal peace.

Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA. The inurnment will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 6, 2026, at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.

A wake will be held from 5:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M., Friday, October 30, 2026, at the funeral establishment.
