Mr. DeShay Ar'Kel Stith, 31, affectionately known as "Hurt" passed away on August 19, 2026, at his residence in Chesapeake, VA. He was born on October 14, 1994, to Pamela Stith.

DeShay was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Javon Stith; and grandmother, Arlean Stith who he called, "MA".

DeShay leaves to cherish his memory: his grandfather, Albert Stith of Wakefield, VA; mother, Pamela Stith of Wakefield, VA; brother, Donte Stith (Tasha) of Chesapeake, VA; two aunts, Sharvie Stith of Wakefield, VA and Patricia Shaw of Hopewell, VA; three nephews, Josh and Jaden Stith both of Franklin, VA and Donte Javon of Chesapeake, VA; four great aunts and four great uncles; his only two first cousins who he loved like sisters, Quanda and Keasha; his bonus nieces and nephews, Tyanna Boyd, King and Kori Porter, Aaron and AJ Turner; former sister-in-law, Charita Boyd; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 31, 2026, at Booker T Memorial Park, Wakefield, VA, the Rev. Roy Stokes, eulogist.
