Deloris Ann Wilkins was born on March 28, 1948, to the late James Wilkins, Sr. and Mary Tucker in Waverly, VA.  She departed this life on April 20, 2025.

Deloris was baptized at Liberty Baptist Church in Waverly, VA, as a young child. She moved to Richmond, VA, after graduation. As an adult, Deloris loved to bowl, and she was really good, so good that she joined a bowling league.

Preceding Deloris in death was her father, James A. Wilkins, Sr.; brother, Andrew Wilkins and her sister, Alva Wilkins Taylor.

Deloris leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Mary Tucker; son, Lewis Wilkins; sisters, Betty Jones and Carey Wyche; brothers, Mark Wilkins (Freda), James Wilkins, Jr. (Cathy), Willie Wilkins (Carita) and Earnest Wilkins; stepbrothers, Lawrence Tucker and Raymond Tucker, Sr. (Sylvia); stepsister, Fannie Ackerman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Loving Union Baptist Church, 16750 Loving Union Road, Disputanta, VA, the Rev. Dr. Sylvia K. Tucker, Pastor, eulogist.
