David R. Albert, 61, of Prince George, Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Affectionately known as Dave was born on March 23, 1965, in Tallahassee, Florida, son of the late Joe and Sue Albert.

He attended Prince George High School and pursued a career in HVAC, where he worked for nearly 40 years.  When he wasn't working, he would be with his family or cooking up something on the grill.  Dave loved to cook and was pretty good at it.  He also loved going Bass fishing with his closest friends whenever he could.  The holidays were always big at our house.

Dave was a husband, a father, a son, a big brother and a friend.  He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 26 plus years, whom he spoiled every day, Amy McQuage Albert; his daughter, Tristan Ablert; younger sister, Tracy Albert McGregor (Mike); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He has touched many lives and will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

We talked about our childhood memories a lot and they always made us smile He was a great big brother and left a big hole in my heart.  He loved his family very much; his daughter was the light of his life and everything he did, he did for her.
