Our hearts were saddened when God called our dear loved one, Mr. Darnell Haskins, home on November 15, 2025. He was born on July 22, 1968, to the late Jack Stewart, Sr. and Elnora Hargraves Stewart.

Along with his parents, Darnell was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Lee Hargraves, Preston Stewart and Jack Stewart, Jr.; and his sister, Lillie Ann Stewart Brown.

Darnell graduated from Petersburg High School and worked as an entrepreneur selling cars.

Darnell leaves to cherish his memory: one aunt, Irene Haskins of Chesterfield VA; brother, Chester Haskins; two sisters, Bernadette Haskins and Judy Clay all of Petersburg VA; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; a devoted sister-in-law, Mary Hargraves; devoted niece, Markica Holmes; a host of devoted friends to include, Sharon Flowers, Bug, Dee, Gus, Reggie, and Charlie Brown; and a host of family and friends.

Darnell was a very special brother and friend to many. All who knew him knew he had a beautiful smile and was always full of laughter and jokes. He had unconditional love for his family and friends and will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Herbert Holly II, eulogist.
