Mrs. Creosha D. Gordon-Mason was born on November 6, 1983, in Nurnberg, Germany. She departed this life on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at VCU Health Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. Creosha was a very loving and caring mother to Zakyah and Tre', and she loved them deeply.

Creosha was the daughter of Lawrence and Patricia Gordon, her loving parents who instilled strong family values in her. She was known for her kindness, determination, creativity, faith, and her loving hands, in which she cared for others. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Freedom Recovery Centers, Midlothian, Virginia. She graduated from Prince George High School and from East Coast Polytechnic Institute University (ECPI) where she earned her LPN license.

Though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain in our hearts forever. We take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mable R. Bailey-Grays and Lawrence Smith; and her paternal grandparents, Shirley A. Gordon and Horace Gordon, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her loving and devoted husband, James B. Mason, Jr.; her two loving children, Zakyah J. Moxley and Tre' D. Mason; her loving and devoted parents, Patricia D. Gordon (Mother), and Lawrence Gordon (Tammie); her one and only loving and devoted brother, Lawrence Gordon, Jr. (Ashley); her one and only loving nephew, Maddox Gordon; father and mother in-law, James Sr. and Michelle Mason of Prince George, Virginia; five loving and devoted aunts, Joyce A. Johnson of Petersburg, Virginia, Wendy Banks of North Dinwiddie, Virginia, Zoretha Wiggins (Ricardo) and Barbara Giles (Leon) both of Petersburg, Virginia and Nanette McLaren (Kenloy) of Hopewell, Virginia; four devoted and loving uncles, Ronald Gordon and Pernell Gordon (Sharon) both of Petersburg, Virginia, Ricky Gordon (Cassandra) of Hopewell, Virginia and Horace Gordon, Jr. (Andrea) of New York; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She also leaves behind a lifelong devoted, loving, and caring best friend, Sheena Arnold-Jones and her dedicated mother, Vickie Taylor; her amazing, dedicated cousin, Kinishaka V. Lee; and her loving, dedicated and devoted godchildren Zylaia Ramsey and Azyah Arnold.

Creosha will be profoundly missed for her laughter, beautiful smile, her fashion sense and style, her dancing with her dad, and her love for life.

Even though Cresoha has transitioned to her heavenly home, she will forever and always be remembered, and her legacy will live on through her children. Creosha will always be loved and missed. Get your wings Babygirl and fly high!

Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 7, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Calvin E. Lewis, Sr., eulogist. The interment to follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Park.
