Bruce Lee Haith, Sr., passed away on April 6, 2026, at the Lakeside Health & Rehabilitation Facility, where he was a resident since March 4, 2026.

Bruce was diagnosed in March 2025, with Stage-4 Lung Cancer after a fall.  The disease had progressed to include: his bones, brain and spine. After several attempts to slow down the progression of this aggressive disease, he was given a crushing prognosis in January 2026, that he was too weak to continue treatment and the cancer had spread.

Despite this news, Bruce continued his valiant fight for three more months until he succumbed to the disease. We are all grieving our dear brother Burch and we cherish the time and memories we shared with him.

We will remember how he fought to preserve his life and how precious life is as we cherish each day and give all praise and glory to our Heavenly Father for sacrificing his son Jesus so that we may all live.

Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, Emma G. Smith and his brother, Brody L. Haith, Jr.

He leaves behind two sons, Tyrone Haith and Bruce Haith, Jr.; eleven siblings and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Father we hold onto the promise of Romans 8: 38-39, that nothing, not even death, can separate us from your love.  Please comfort our family as we grieve and fill the void with your presence.
