Obituary

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brandon Edward Sherrod, Jr., who departed this life on May 27, 2026, at the age of 19.

Brandon was the beloved son of Brandon Edward Sherrod, Sr. and Tamica Johnson, and was lovingly embraced by his bonus mother, Santana Davis. Though his time with us was far too short, Brandon left an unforgettable mark on the lives of everyone who knew and loved him.

A bright young man with a promising future, Brandon was an aspiring entrepreneur who dreamed of building a successful life through hard work, determination, and creativity. He possessed a kind spirit, a generous heart, and a contagious smile that could light up any room. Most importantly, he was a devoted and loving big brother whose guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love will forever be cherished by his siblings, Tristan, Trinity and Noah.

Brandon's love extended throughout his family, and he leaves behind countless cherished memories with his grandparents, Louistine Sherrod, Cheryl Sherrod, Charles E. Johnson, Sr., and Chico Johnson. He will also be deeply missed by his aunts, Joy Penick, Trina Davis, and Chermel Bell; and his uncle, Justin Wilson; along with numerous cousins, relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his beloved uncle, Charles E. Johnson, Jr., whose love, guidance, and bond with him will forever remain treasured in our hearts.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that Brandon's spirit will continue to watch over those he loved. His dreams, laughter, strength, and love will remain with us forever. While he may no longer walk beside us, he will forever live within our hearts and memories.

As we gather to honor Brandon's life, we ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. May we all find peace in the memories we shared, strength in the love he gave, and comfort in knowing that his legacy will continue to shine through all those who loved him.

Forever Loved. Forever Missed. Forever Remembered.

"Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."
