Mr. Bobby J. Street of  North Dinwiddie, Virginia, passed away on April 17, 2025, at River View On the Appomattox Health & Rehab Center, Hopewell, Virginia. He was born on February 19, 1958, in Dinwiddie County to the late William Street, Sr., and Maybelle Jones Street.

Bobby was baptized at an early age at Eleven Oaks Baptist Church in Dewitt, Virginia. He attended Dinwiddie County Public Schools. After graduating, he worked many years at Petersburg General Hospital (now Bon Secours Southside Medical Center) until his health began to decline.

Bobby loved family, God, and going fishing. He was a very kind person with a heart of gold. No one was ever a stranger to Bobby.

Along with his parent, Bobby was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy M. Street.

He will be truly missed and remembered by those left behind to cherish his memories: his daughter, China Street; brother, William Street, Jr.; two aunts, Flora Williams of Sutherland, Virginia and Queen Weaver of DeWitt, Virginia; devoted cousin and caregiver, Cynthia Stevenson (Leroy); and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 3, 2025, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA.
