Barbara Lee Bell was born on February 26, 1959, in Richmond, Virginia, to her loving parents, Annie Marie Bell and Archie Bell, Jr. She entered eternal rest on July 2, 2026.

Barbara was one of seven children. She shared her life with her siblings, Cheryl Lynette Johnson, Anita Bell Smith, Gregory Lionel Bell, Lester Bell, Ronald Bell, and Archie Bell III.

Barbara was a loving mother to her four children, Harry Jones, Nathanial Jones, Fashard Bell (Nikki), and Andrew Chiles, Jr. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren, Kensley, Jaydan, Keirah, Raven Bell, Norah Bell, and Amir Chiles, her loving great niece, Dakeisha Hazelwood; and a host of nieces,nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Barbara had a heart for family and loved spending time with the people she cared about most. One of her favorite things to do was cook. Whether she was preparing a meal, feeding her loved ones, or simply bringing people together around food, Barbara showed her love through the warmth of her kitchen and the care she put into everything she made.

She will be remembered for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the special place she held in the hearts of her family and friends. Barbara's presence will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on forever through her children, grandchildren, siblings, and all who knew and loved her.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA.
