Annette Juanita Nottingham was born on September 16, 1940, in Chesterfield County Virginia to the late Rev. William Stanley Nottingham and Inez Waller Nottingham. She passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Wonder City Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Hopewell, Virginia.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, William and Inez Nottingham;  and her sisters, Ethel Nottingham Jones, and Carrie Mae Lipscomb (Calvin).

She loved to put together puzzles and could do a 1,000 piece puzzle in about a day. She also loved to color. She attended George Washington Carver High School, Chester, Virginia. She loved peanut butter and crackers and would eat a half sleeve of Ritz Crackers with peanut butter, along with a glass of Pepsi and a sandwich; this was her daily lunch.

Annette is survived by a brother, Enoch E. Nottingham, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Mildred J. McClenny and Joan J. Colbert of Chester Virginia; nephews and nieces, Herbert A. Jones (Bobbie) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Gail Jones Taylor (Bobby) of Chester, Virginia, Antoinette Lipscomb Rogers of Hopewell, Virginia, Anthony J. Nottingham (Allison) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Enoch E. Nottingham, Jr., Calvin, Stanley, and Michael Lipscomb of South Chesterfield, Virginia; Kimberly Jones, Marquette Mayberry (Angela) both Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Corey Lipscomb and Shelena Rogers both Hopewell, Virginia; cousins, Charles Woodard (Renee), Carolyn Woodard of Clinton, Maryland and Frances Tillar (Elmer) of Chesapeake, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held 12 Noon, Monday, April 27, 2026, at Bermuda Memorial Park, 1901 Bermuda Hundred Road, Chester, VA, Dr. Bobby Taylor, eulogist.
