Angela M. Gerald (Davis), age 65, of Petersburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2026.

Angela, affectionately known as "Ms. Angie," will be remembered for her loving, caring, funny, and generous spirit, as well as her beautiful smile that brought joy to so many. Despite facing health challenges, she maintained an upbeat and positive attitude and always made others feel loved, valued, and seen.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving and devoted daughter, Lakisha Davis of Petersburg, Virginia; her step-son, Terrance Gerald of Silverdale, Washington; her brothers, Joseph Jones, Jr. of Washington, DC, and Luther Davis, Jr. of Greenbelt, Maryland; her sisters, Pamela Goodwin of Chesterfield, Virginia, and Shirley Davis of Lanham, Maryland; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives she touched throughout her journey. Her warmth, kindness, and radiant spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 30, 2026, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Alvin J. Gurley, eulogist. A second memorial service will be held in her birth state of Maryland 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Refreshing Spring Church of God in Christ in Riverdale, MD. The inurnment will be held at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
